Actor Teju Ashwini, who recently played the lead along with actor-composer GV Prakash in director Mu Maran's Blackmail, had shared a few photos on her social media handle, expressing gratitude for being part of the project and gaining experience through it.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Teju Ashwini penned a note of gratitude saying, "Blackmail I just want to take a moment to say a big thank you all from the bottom of my heart. This movie (Three years of journey) has been such a great opportunity for me, and I feel so grateful for the chance I got to be part of it."

She also thanked fans and audiences who watched the film and took time to praise her performance in it. "Every word of encouragement has lifted me up and filled me with so much positive energy. Posting these little BTS moments as memories, because this journey wouldn’t have been the same without all of you who watched, supported, and believed in me," she added.

Produced by A Deivakani and Jayakkodi Amalraj under the JDS Film Factory, Blackmail also stars Muthukumar, Redin Kingsley, Ramesh Thilak, Hari Priya, and other notable actors. The film was released on September 12 to mixed reviews from audiences and critics.

The technical team of Blackmail includes composer Sam CS, editor San Lokesh, and cinematographer Gokul Benoy, known for his work on Jiiva-starrer Black.

Teju Ashwini is known for her roles in Enna Solla Pogirai and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
