The team behind Dayangaram, YouTuber-turned-filmmaker VJ Siddhu’s maiden feature, has completed the film’s first shooting schedule, the makers announced on Saturday. Sharing the update on X, producer Vels Film International posted, “A step closer to the big screens! Dayangaram’s first schedule wrapped.”

Siddhu, who not only directs the film but also plays the lead, is backed by a strong technical crew. The music is composed by Siddhu Kumar, with Dinesh Krishnan handling cinematography. Pradeep E Ragav is in charge of editing, while the film’s production design is helmed by Vinoth Raj Kumar.

The film stars Natty Nataraj in the lead role. Ishari Ganesh is producing the film under the Vels Film International banner. More details regarding the film's plot, cast, crew, and release are expected to be announced soon. Previously, the producer revealed that the film will be based on VJ Siddhu's life story.

When the film was launched, producer Ishari Ganesh, in a statement, called Siddhu a "natural entertainer and a promising new filmmaker" and said that he is always keen on introducing new talents to the industry, hoping Siddhu too will join the list of his successful launches, such as Pradeep Ranganathan and RJ Balaji. Recounting his journey as something filled with "hustle, self-doubt and countless late nights", Siddhu said it feels like a dream. About Dayangaram, Siddhu shared, "It's me; it’s my fun, my youth, my livelihood, my life."
