The makers of KP Jagan's Roja Malli Kanagambaram announced that the film's production has been wrapped.

The film's first look was revealed early this month, with the makers saying that it is a hyperlink thriller where three stories will eventually converge into one. Jagan said that all three segments will have a song each and a fourth song connecting all the stories.

Having made his directorial debut with Vijay starrer Pudhiya Geethai (2003), Jagan has also helmed films such as Kodambakkam (2006), Raman Thediya Seethai (2008), and En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom (2017).

Significantly, Roja Malli Kanagambaram also marks the director's acting debut as a lead, after having played supporting roles in Mayandi Kudumbathar (2009), Goripalayam (2010), Kangaroo (2015), Namma Veetu Pillai (2019), Etharkkum Thunindhavan (2022), and Thalaivan Thalaivii (2025).

Roja Malli Kanagambaram is set in locations like Thiruchendur, Thoothukudi, Manappad, and Kulasekarapattinam. The film also stars Vijay Varma and Sangeetha Kalyan.

Roja Malli Kanagambaram will be produced by SK Selvakumar of United Arts, the banner behind Mayandi Kudumbathar. The film's technical crew consists of cinematographer Sugaselvam, music composer Srikanth Deva, editor Manikandan Sivakumar, and art director Veerasamar.
