Filmmaker Cheran, whose 2004 film Autograph had a successful run in the re-release, has praised actor Munishkanth's debut as the lead, Middle Class.

The director took to his X handle and wrote that Middle Class is humorous and engaging at the same time. He also wrote, "The film has made us vicariously feel the struggles of a middle-class family through the screenplay. The second half will definitely make you cry and clap your hands. Vela Ramamoorthy's character will remind everyone of their fathers."

Cheran further said that the film has entertainingly conveyed the message that honesty and humanity are the real assets of a family.

Kishore Muthuramalingam directs Middle Class in his directorial debut. Dev and KV Durai are producing the film. Mohan P is serving as an executive producer on Middle Class. Axess Film Factory and Good Show are the banners backing the film. The cast of the film also includes Vijayalakshmi, Kuraishi, Kaali Venkat, Radha Ravi, Kodangi Vadivelu, Malavika Avinash, and Vela Ramamoorthy, among others.
