Mask, Kavin's latest film, directed by Vikarnan Ashok, has been receiving positive reviews from audiences and critics since its release on November 21 and has shown promising box office collections. The makers of the action thriller have now thanked noted composer-singer Ilaiyaraaja for granting the permission to use his popular songs for the film through a special poster.

It is to be noted that Mask features six of his iconic songs at different junctures in the film, which also stars Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role alongside Kavin.

A 'thank you' poster from the team

Mask is also Andrea's maiden production venture. She produces the film alongside SP Chockalingam. Black Madras Films and The Show Must Go On are the banners backing the film. Vetri Maaran serves as a mentor for the film.

Our CE review of the film by Avinash Ramachandran reads, "Considering the film begins with a voiceover by Nelson, it almost feels like a toned-down version of his very own filmography. This works in favour of the film because right from the word go, we understand the tone of Mask. However, soon enough, the film tends to flatter to deceive on more than one occasion."

The extended cast of the film includes Ruhani Sharma, Charle, Bala Saravanan, and Archana Chandhoke, among others.

RD Rajasekhar is part of the technical crew as the cinematographer, alongside R Ramar as the editor, Jacki and M Vijay Iyyappan as the art directors, and Peter Hein handling stunts.
