Andrea Jeremiah's maiden production Mask, has collected over Rs 1 crore on its opening day, according to Sacnilk. The film which is directed by Vikarnan Ashok, is headlined by Kavin.
On the day of its release the film collected Rs 1.15 crores at the Indian box office. Mask also saw competition, with films like Middle Class, Theeyavar Kulai Nadunga, Sisu: Road to Revenge, and Wicked: For Good to name a few.
The cast of Mask also includes Ruhani Sharma. Vetri Maaran is also backing the film as a Mentor.
CE's review for the film reads, "Morality. In today’s time and age, is there a place for absolutism? Probably why, in a world filled with morally grey people, the ones who manage to err on the side of caution are seen as good people. After all, it is all about what you do when no one is watching, and there aren’t any consequences to your actions, right? This is the core theme of debutant director Vikarnan Ashok’s Mask, which guises a story of right, wrong, and everything in between, under the garb of a money heist that is too much style, and unfortunately, not enough substance."
