Actor Sundeep Kishan has shared a cheerful belated birthday message for music director Thaman, using the occasion to hint at his excitement for the composer’s contribution to Sigma, the upcoming directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, the son of actor and politician Vijay.

In his post on X on Tuesday, Sundeep wrote, “Belated birthday wishes to dear @MusicThaman. As a Friend and Fan, #Sigma ki Thaman style Duty chesthavu ane nammakam/aasa tho wishing you a fantastic year ahead. Love you, Darling.” His message, brimming with affection and confidence, sparked fresh buzz around the film.

While the birthday exchange made waves, the team behind Sigma has also been celebrating a major production milestone. The film has reportedly wrapped 95% of its shoot in just 65 days, a feat that Lyca Productions CEO Tamil Kumaran praised wholeheartedly.

Just last week, the makers unveiled the film’s title poster, revealing Sundeep Kishan seated atop stacks of cash with a bandaged hand—an image that heightened intrigue around the project. Lyca Productions announced the title with the caption, “The quest begins.”

Sigma is described as the story of a fearless, independent man who defies conventions while chasing ambitious dreams. Combining the excitement of a treasure hunt with the tension of a high-stakes heist, the film promises an entertaining mix of action, adventure, and humour.

The ensemble cast includes Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Sampath Raj, Kiran Konda, and Magalakshmi Sudharsanan, along with several cameo appearances.

The film’s core technical crew features music composer Thaman, cinematographer Krishnan Vasant, editor Praveen KL, and art director Benjamin M, who together aim to deliver a vibrant, visually rich experience.
