'Yamma Ghajini', the first single from Kadhal Reset Repeat, helmed by Vijay, was unveiled on Saturday. A collaboration between the film's music composer Harris Jayaraj and rapper Asal Kolaar, the song is a colourful vibe track featuring choreographer and actor Sandy. Debutant leads Madumkesh and Jiya Shankar also feature in the vibrant track, which features vocals by Suchith Suresh, Senthil Dass, and Tamizh Adhavan. The song has lyrics by Madhan Karky and Arcus Aryian.

While Madumkesh was previously seen in Adiyae, Jiya has starred in the Tamil and Telugu films Kanavu Variyam and Hyderabad Love Story, respectively. Kadhal Reset Repeat, which is set to be helmed by AL Vijay, will mark the full-fledged debut of the two actors.

A Mahadev has written the screenplay for Kadhal Reset Repeat alongside Vijay. The film is backed by D Studios and Denvi Productions and co-produced by Prabha Premkumar. Arjun Ashokan, Jayaprakash, and Viji Chandrashekar are also a part of the film's cast.

On the technical front, Kadhal Reset Repeat will feature cinematography by Arvind Krishna and editing by Anthony. While the title hints at a love story, genre and plot details remain under wraps. A release date for the film is also yet to be announced.

Director Vijay last helmed Mission: Chapter 1. He is the creative producer for The Madras Mystery: Fall of a Superstar, starring Nazriya Nazim and Shanthnu Bhagyaraj in lead roles. He is known for films such as Madrasapattinam, Deiva Thirumagal, Thalaivaa, and Saivam, among others.
