Mysskin's Pisasu 2, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah, has been facing a major roadblock following a recent ban on its release, due to its production banner Rockfort Entertainment's financial dispute with Flying Horse Pictures. Recently, Andrea Jeremiah expressed her disappointment at the non-release of the Pisaasu sequel. Speaking recently to Galatta Plus to promote her upcoming film Mask, co-starring Kavin, Andrea called Pisasu 2 the "best work" in her career. The actor also revealed that Vetri Maaran, who is an erstwhile producer and mentor of Mask, praised her performance in the Mysskin film. "He has never complimented me for anything, including Chandra (Andrea's character in Mask). However, he saw Pisasu 2, called me and was damn emotional. I wondered what happened to him. Later, I realised that he was so moved by the film."
The actor also said that it is not easy to make Vetri Maaran consider a film an emotionally moving feature. "For me, the fact that he found it moving was a compliment," Andrea said. The film is a sequel to Pisaasu, Mysskin's own horror drama that also works as a poignant love story. Coming back to Andrea, the actor's Mask is slated for a November 21 release in theatres.
