Ahead of the release of the film on November 14, the makers of Kinaru dropped the first single, 'Nee Oodidu', on Tuesday.

The fun number about the routine of the village's children is composed by Bhuvanesh Selvanesan, sung by Arjun Muralidharan, and penned by Karunakaran.

Kinaru has garnered a lot of attention ahead of its release owing to the accolades it won in the festival circuit. The film has won in the Pegasus Film Festival 2024, the Accolade Global Film Competition, and in multiple categories in the IndieFEST Film Awards.

Kinaru follows four nine-year-olds who are constantly scolded for playing in someone else's well. Fed up with the scoldings, the children decide to dig their own well against the wishes of their grandmother, who believes that their family is cursed because of water. How the children learn about digging a well, the importance of groundwater conservation, and convincing their grandmother of their large scheme is what the film is about.

Kinaru's star cast has Kanishkumar, Vivek Prasanna, Manojkannan, Sri Hariharan, and Ashwin. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Gautham Venkatesh, music composer Bhuvanesh Selvanesan, and editor KS Gowtham Raj.
