Andrea Jeremiah made her acting debut with 2007's
Pachaikili Muthucharam, a few years before Vijay Sethupathi had his breakthrough role in Thenmerku Paruvakaatru. While Vijay Sethupathi appeared briefly in films that hit theatres before 2007, such as the Dhanush starrer Pudhupettai, to name one, he was not quite a household name back then. At the Mask trailer launch event the other day, Vijay Sethupathi appeared as a guest speaker and spoke highly of the film's lead actor and producer Andrea's beauty. Vijay said that he once saw Andrea on a beach when he was a child and that she looks the same now as in an advertisement dating back many years. "Tomorrow, my son will also check who she really is. How are you still so beautiful? Are you sitting in a refrigerator or sleeping on bed, I wonder?" quipped Vijay, eliciting big laughs from the Mask star and producer and her co-star Kavin. He also said that those from foreign countries should interview Andrea.

Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah featured in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master, starring Vijay in the lead role, but they do not have any combination scenes. The 2021 film stars Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist and Andrea as a friend of Vijay's hero character JD.

Meanwhile, Andrea's next film with co-star Kavin and director Vikarnan Ashok, Mask, is set to release on November 21 in theatres.
