GV Prakash Kumar shared an anecdote about working with Andrea Jeremiah on her debut as a playback singer in Anniyan. GV Prakash Kumar was speakiing at the pre-release event of Mask, which is produced by Andrea Jeremiah and GV Prakash Kumar.

At the event, GV Prakash Kumar said, "I was there when Andrea sang for the first time for Anniyan. I have known her from then."

GV Prakash and Andrea collaborated for the first time in Aayirathil Oruvan (2009), in which Andrea was also a lead actor. From the album 'Maalai Neram' and 'Un Mela Aasadhan' were the singles featuring Andrea Jeremiah's vocals.

Actor Pavan, who has played a politician in the film, remarked that Vetri Maaran, who has closed his shop (Vetri Maaran's production house, Grass Roots Film Co), will open a more shops. Agreeing with Pavan, GV Prakash Kumar said, "I wish Vetri Maaran, to open more shops, like Pavan said." Her added, " (Director) Vikarnan narrated the story in a way that was far different than Vetri Maaran's style. It was surprising.

Mask is Andrea Jeremiah's maiden production venture. She is producing the film along with alongside SP Chockalingam.
