Gouri G Kishan, who stars in the upcoming film Others, recently confronted a journalist who asked questions about the actor's weight. Gouri was at a press event for the film, when she confronted the journalist who posed a question to Aditya Madhavan. 'Oru Paarvai Paarthene' from Others features a scene where Aditya Madhavan lifts Gouri Kishan. The journalist had asked Aditya, what Gouri's weight was.

When asked why the question was put forth the journalist responded by saying that he had a long career in cinema journalism, and all he tried to ask was an interesting question.

Gouri then conversed with the journalist in an attempt to help him understand that his question signalled bodyshaming, when she was met with raised voices and resistance.

She also questioned the lack of line of questioning about the film or about her character, and spoke on why were actresses regularly questioned on their weight.

In Others, which is set to release on November 7, Gouri will essay the role of Dr Madhumitha.
