GV Prakash Kumar reunites with Sudha Kongara for the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Parasakthi, after Soorarai Potru, in his 100th film as music composer

Sudha Kongara's Parasakthi will be music composer GV Prakash Kumar's 100th film as a music composer. The makers have teased a promo for the first single from the film's album, which is to release soon. The composer debuted in 2006, with Veyil. But if the upcoming period drama is his 100th, what are the films that are his milestones?

The 2012 Karthi-starrer, Saguni, is GV Prakash's 25th film as the composer. The political comedy, directed by Shankar Dayal N, featured several well received numbers like 'Kandha Kaara Vadai' and 'Manasellam Mazhaiye'.

GV Prakash's 50th film as a composer was the Vijay-starrer Theri. The soundtrack for the Atlee directorial, was well received and featured singers like Deva, T Rajendhar, Bombay Jayashri, Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, and even actor Vijay.

The composer's 75th film is a sublime entry comparing to his other milestones. GV Prakash composed music for the third episode of Modern Love Chennai, and released a single 'Kukunnu', which was sung by Remya Nambeesan.

With the promo for the first single from Parasakthi to be released on 05.00 pm on November 4, the promotions for the film is beginning of the path to the film's release.
