In a recent update from Tinseltown, Pichaikaaran hitmakers Sasi and Vijay Antony are set to collaborate for a new untitled project. The film was announced officially by the makers on Monday.

The film, produced by Ramesh P Pillai Abhishek Films, also stars Ajay Dhishan and Swasika. Abhishek Films had bankrolled Sasi's Sivappu Manjal Pachai, starring Siddharth and GV Prakash. The 2019 film was Sasi's last theatrical release, with Nooru Kodi Vaanavil, which was supposed to star Harish Kalyan and Siddhi Idnani in the lead, in a developmental hell.

The film's technical crew comprises composer Balaji Sriram, cinematographer Dharshan Kirlosh, editor Jibee Pankajakshen and art director Ezhumalai Aadhikesavan.

With his upcoming film, Maargan slated for a release on June 27, he recently onboarded director Joshua Sethuraman's Lawyer. He also has Shakthi Thirumugan, Valli Mayil, Agni Siragugal and Khakhee awaiting release.

With Lawyer set to go on floors in June, the makers of the Sasi-Vijay Antony film are expected to make announcements about the film, including the title, in the coming days.
