The makers of actor Vemal's upcoming social drama Paramasivan Fathima announced that the film will get a theatrical release on June 6, with its audio getting unveiled on May 26.

The film's trailer suggested that it will discuss contentious subjects such as forced religious conversions and the need for unity. In addition to this, there is an Islamic element in the film too. The glimpse also gives a recall to the 2004 film Kovil by director Hari, which too is premised around the sectarian conflict between a Hindu and a Christian town.

The film is directed by Esakki Karvannan, who has previously made Tamil Kudimagan (2023), Pettikadai (2019), and Pagiri (2016).

Paramasivan Fathima, which has Chayadevi as the female lead, also stars MS Bhaskar, Manoj Kumar, Sri Ranjani, Athira, Aruldoss, Cool Suresh, Kadhal Sukumar, and Veerasamar, among others.

The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Myna Sukumar and music composer Deepan Chakravarthy. Esakki has also written the script of the film, produced by Lakshmi Creations.

As Maniratnam's Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan in the lead, is set for a release on June 5, Paramasivan Fathima will get a release on the heels of this big-ticket premiere.
