People often watch films again and again just for the pleasure of its visuals or music. Take Thug Life star Silambarasan TR, for example. In a recent conversation with Galatta Plus, the actor said that he watched director Rajiv Menon's Kandukondain Kandukondain multiple times for its music, especially the nadaswaram version of the song 'Enna Solla Pogirai' that comes in the film's climax. "It is giving you a great goosebump," said the Maanaadu star in reference to the aforesaid piece of music.

Interestingly, Kandukondain Kandukondain has music by AR Rahman, who also serves as the composer for Thug Life, which reunites Kamal Haasan with Mani Ratnam 38 years after Nayakan. The film is known for its sweeping cinematography, Rahman's music, and the performances from an ensemble cast, including Mammootty, Tabu, Aishwarya Rai, Ajith Kumar, Abbas, Srividya, and Manivannan, among others. Kandukondain Kandukondain recently turned 25.

On the other hand, Thug Life, which also stars Trisha, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan, Nasser, and Joju George, among others. The film is slated for a June 05 release in theatres.
