Jiiva is all set to collaborate with director Nithish Sahadev for his next film. Tentatively titled Jiiva 45, the film was announced with a Pooja ceremony.

While no other details about the film have been revealed, other members of the cast include Prathana Nathan and Thambi Ramaiah. Kannan Ravi is producing the film.

Nithish Sahadev made his directorial debut with Falimy. The film starred Basil Joseph, Jagadish, Manju Pillai, and Sandeep Pradeep as a dysfunctional family who goes to Varanasi on a pilgrimage. The comedic hurdles they face and the conflicts they resolve on the way make up the rest of the film.

After Falimy, Nithish was also set to make a film with Mammootty as the lead, which was said to feature the actor speaking in a Malayalam dialect found in the Marthandam-Nagarcoil region of Tamil Nadu. Alphonse Puthren is said to make an appearance in the film, with Vishnu Vijay composing music for the film.
