We had previously reported that Yogi Babu, who was last seen in Shiva's long-delayed Sumo, will don the role of a magician in his upcoming film Jora Kaiya Thattunga. The teaser of the upcoming film was released by producer Kalaippuli S Thanu on Tuesday. Directed by Vineesh Millennium, the film is set for a release on May 16.

The over one-minute-long teaser starts with Yogi Babu mentioning that his father always wanted to become a magician. While many details cannot be deduced from the teaser, it can be seen that Yogi Babu is linked to a few mysterious disappearances and deaths and that people are on the hunt for him. There seems to be a few horror/thriller elements in the story as well. Apart from Yogi Babu, the film also stars Shanthi Rao in the lead role.

On the technical team, the film has cinematography by Madhu Ambat ISC, music by SN Arunagiri and editing by Sabu Joseph VJ. Jora Kaiya Thattunga has been bankrolled by Zakir Ali and co-produced by G Saravana.

Besides Jora Kaiya Thattunga, Yogi Babu also has a slew of upcoming films including Vijay Sethupathi's Ace, Garam Masala, Gajaana and The Raja Saab.
