Arjun Das' performance in director Santhakumar's 2024 film Rasavathi has earned him best actor at the 15th edition of Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. Santhakumar himself announced the news through social media. The filmmaker stated that Arjun's performance got the nod over 700 other candidates.

Earlier, Arjun's performance in the same film won him best actor at New Jersey Indian and International Film Festival. An excerpt from our review of Rasavathi reads, "Arjun's portrayal of Sadhasiva Pandian is characterised by sincerity and authenticity, and he effortlessly embodies the character's complexities and motivations... A sincere Arjun Das effortlessly steps into the shoes of Sadhasiva Pandian, his performance serving as the film’s cornerstone."

Rasavathi also won Best Sound Design for Tapas Nayak at this year's London International Film Festival.

Released in May 2024, Rasavathi follows a Siddha doctor (Arjun) who steers clear of past violence even as he deals with a psychopathic cop (Sujith Shanker), attempting to destroy his relationship and kill him over an ego clash.
