All in not well in Bhavana's world in The Door. The trailer for the film, which was released on Monday revealed that Bhavana plays Mithra, a woman haunted by mysterious ghosts which seem to have an unresolved purpose. Written and directed by Bhavana's brother Jaiiddev, the film is slated for a March 28 release in theatres. Bhavana is making a comeback to Tamil cinema, 15 years after her work with Ajith on Asal.

The 1.33-minute trailer offers a glimpse into an investigation led by Ganesh Venkatraman into multiple deaths linked to a construction site. As the story unfolds, it hints at a connection between these deaths and the demolition of a temple in the area. The Door also explores how Bhavana finds herself at the epicenter of these events and her mysterious connection to them.

The Door also stars Jayaprakash in a key role. The cast also includes Sriranjini, Malayalam actor Nandhu, Kapil Velavan, Priya Venkat, Ramesh Arumugam, Sindhoori, and Sangeetha.

The film, produced by Bhavana's husband Naveen Rajan under the June Dreams Studios banner, has cinematographer Gautham G, composer Varun Unni, and editor Athul Vijay. The Door is also set to release with dubs in Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Telugu.

Bhavana was last seen in a Malayalam horror film, titled Hunt. Her upcoming projects also include the Kannada films Pink Note and Uttarakaanda.
