A year after the announcement of the project and the commencement of the shoot of debut director Narendran Murthy, the film has been titled 4 Windows.

The announcement came with actor Vijay Sethupathi launching the film's first-look poster on Monday.

With nothing much known about the plot details of the film, the makers say that Narendra Murthy has written a story revolving around the dark comedy genre. The film starring Sathyaraj and Vetri in the lead also stars MS Bhaskar, Kovai Sarala, Sachu, Prarthana, and Airaa in prominent roles.

The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer NS Uthaya Kumar, known for his works in Kodiyil Oruvan and Kurangu Bommai; music composer Jerard Felix; and editor Ramar, best known for his earlier works in Vetrimaaran's Asuran, Vadachennai, and Viduthalai.

Bankrolled by Ilayaraja Sekhar under the Sekar G Productions banner, Noor and Bala serve as the creative producers.

The makers are yet to give the release date of the film.
