Four years after the release of Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marappathillai, the OST by Yuvan Shankar Raja is to be released on March 21. The film was released on March 5, 2021, after facing several delays.

The film starred SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra, Nandhita Swetha, and Arvind Krishna. It followed the story of Mariam (Cassandra) as she enters the household of Ramasaamy (Suryah) and Swetha (Nanditha) and faces several hurdles. Things soon start to turn supernatural after a mishap in the house.

The soundtrack of the film was composed by Yuvan Shankar Rajaand had four songs. Vocals for those tracks were lent mostly by Raja. The tracks also had Dhanush, SJ Suryah and Aishvarya Khumar lending the vocals.

Nenjam Marappathillai was produced by P Madan under the Escape Artists Motion Pictures banner. The cinematography for the film was done by Arvind Krishna, with editing by Prasanna GK. The distribution for the film was done by Rockfort Entertainment's T Muruganantham.
