As actor Vemal's webseries Om Kali Jai Kali is set to begin streaming on March 28, the makers dropped the trailer on Wednesday.

The trailer glimpse depicts Vemal as a koothu artist and a saamiyaadi (a medium for the deity to possess), who is in the middle of the chaotic scenes after an MLA hopeful's murder. It was not known if the male lead killed the person when he was himself or when he was possessed. The political party the murdered is affiliated with is conspiring against the village of the lead is another key piece of information the teaser gives. The series has all the trappings of a political thriller with a supernatural element to it. Om Kali Jai Kali will be Vemal's second webseries after Vilangu.

The makers had earlier released the teaser on February 28. The actors joining Vemal are Ilango Kumaravel, Pavani Reddy, and Kanja Karuppu.

Apart from Tamil, Om Kali Jai Kali will also be streamed in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi.
