Actor Udhaya's Accused wrapped filming

The film's director, Prabhu, has previously directed the Kannada film Body God

It was earlier announced that actor Udhaya will team up with director Prabhu Srinivas for Accused, a film centred around prison.

The latest update from the makers is that the film has completed production and will be releasing this summer. The cast and crew of the film snapped a picture together to celebrate the occasion. The film has been concluded in a single schedule of 54 days.

Starring alongside Udhaya are Ajmal, Yogi Babu, and director Prabu Solomon. The technical crew of the film comprises cinematographer Maruthanayagam I, music composer Naren Balakumar, editor KL Praveen, and stunt director Stunt Silva.

The film's director, Prabhu, has previously directed a Kannada film, Body God. Udhaya, who made his debut as the lead in Tirunelveli (2000), was last seen in Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu (2021) and as lead in Utharavu Maharaja (2018).

Accused is produced by Udhaya, N Panneer Selvam, and M Thangavel.
