Siddharth's upcoming 40th film with 8 Thottakkal-director Sri Ganesh has officially completed filming. The family drama, which went on floors last July, also stars Sarathkumar and Devyani in pivotal roles as Siddharth's mother and father. Meetha Raghunath, Yogi Babu and Kannada actor Chaithra Achar known for intense role in Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B will also star. This marks her Tamil debut.

Announcing the news, the makers shared a celebratory video where the cast and crew were seen cutting cake and enjoying the occasion.

The title glimpse, which was released in February, revealed that the film will predominantly revolve around the character that Siddharth plays and his family that comes from a humble background, and the dynamics they share.

The technical crew of the film comprises cinematographers Dinesh Krishnan B and Jithin Stanislaus, editor Ganesh Siva, art director Vinoth Rajkumar N, and music director Amrit Ramnath.

3 BHK is backed by Arun Viswa of Shanthi Talkies, the production company behind Sivakarthikeyan-Madonne Ashwin's Maaveeran.

The film is slated to be released this summer.
