After their collaboration on the 2019 film Mehandi Circus, filmmaker Raju Saravanan and actor Madhampatty Rangaraj are back together again on a yet-to-be-titled film. The film, which commenced production in December 2024, has been wrapped. The makers shot it in and around Palacode, a town in Dharmapuri.

The makers are yet to reveal further details about the film's cast, technical crew, and so forth. According to reports, they are set to release the film's trailer and audio, as well as setting its release date. Plot details are also kept under wraps.

After his debut in Mehandi Circus, opposite Mirzapur star Shweta Tripathi in her first Tamil film, Madhampatty Rangaraj starred in Eashvar Karthic's Penguin alongside Keerthy Suresh. The yet-to-be-titled film is expected to be his third film but second theatrical release, since Penguin got a straight-to-streaming release.

It will be Raju Murugan's sixth film; earlier, he directed Cuckoo, the Guru Somasundaram-starrer Joker, an episode in Modern Love Chennai, and the Karthi-starrer Japan.
