Director Venky Atluri has offered a glimpse into his film with Suriya, which will mark the actor's 46th project. The filmmaker revealed that it would mark a significant shift for the actor. In a recent interview, Venky stated, "Suriya 46 will be a proper happy family film, with a very good human emotion." He further elaborated on the project, indicating that Suriya's character in it would exhibit "shades similar to Sanjay Ramaswamy character (from Ghajini)."

The film, which commenced production earlier this June, also stars Mamitha Baiju of Premalu fame in a prominent role. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi's banner Sithara Entertainments produces the venture in association with Fortune Four Cinemas. The technical crew includes editor Navin Nooli and cinematographer Nimish Ravi.

Adding to the intrigue, speculation intensifies that Suriya 46 will delve into biographical territory. Rumors suggest the film takes inspiration from a person who played a key role in the production of Maruti 800. If confirmed, this would offer Suriya a unique opportunity to portray a real-life figure pivotal in India's industrial history.

Meanwhile, Suriya's upcoming projects also include his 45th film, Karuppu, which director RJ Balaji helms and co-stars Trisha.
