Grace Antony, who is all set to make her Tamil debut with director Ram's Paranthu Po, is currently busy promoting the film. In a recent exclusive interview with Cinema Express, the actor said she's a huge fan of Vijay, and spoke about growing up with Vijay's films and songs.

She said, "When I was a teenager, my school bus driver would play Vijay sir's songs. That's how I developed my knowledge about Tamil cinema and Tamil as a language." She further mentioned that she cannot pick one favourite film of Vijay, as she has many.

Adding an anecdote to Grace's love for Vijay's films, her Paranthu Po co-star Shiva recalled an incident at a recent promotional event. "We went to a show where we were asked to complete Tamil song lyrics. I failed to recollect the lyrics for a song, but the verses were on Grace's fingertips. The song was 'Paattu Onnu' from Mohanlal-Vijay's Jilla. Grace also mentioned that she is also a fan of actors Vikram and Dhanush.

Ram’s sixth directorial, Paranthu Po, also stars Mitul Ryan, Anjali, Vijay Yesudas, Aju Varghese, and Balaji Shakthivel, among others. The film had its official premiere at the 54th International Film Festival Rotterdam on February 4, 2024.

Santhosh Dhayanidhi is the composer of Paranthu Po, which has Madhan Karky writing the lyrics. The rest of the film's crew includes NK Ekambaram as the director of photography, Mathi VS as the editor, Stunt Silva handling the action choreography, and Kumar Gangappan as the production designer.

JioHotstar, GK Bros Production and Seven Seas and Seven Hills Production are the producers of the film. Paranthu Po is all set to hit theatres on July 4. It will release alongside Siddharth-Sri Ganesh’s 3BHK and Arun Pandian-Keerthi Pandian’s Akkenam.
