The teaser of Sonia Aggarwal's next film Gift was released by the makers on Friday. Written and directed by Pa Pandiyan, the film revolves around an investigation led by the actor who plays an intense role as a determined cop in the film.

In the over one-minute-long teaser, it is established that Sonia Aggarwal plays a police officer investigating a singularly intriguing rape case. The teaser begins with Sonia's character telling us that she has handled several criminal cases and successfully solved them. However, she then tells that there is this one case, the investigation of which continues to stay exactly at the same place where it started. The police officer says that she finds this case to be challenging. How she solves the case seems to form the rest of the story.

Apart from Sonia Aggarwal, Gift also features Birla Bose, Super Good Subramani, Crane Manohar, Sasi Laya and Rekha.

On the technical front, the film has music by Amara CV and cinematography by Rajadurai. The film has two editors David Ajay and Ganesh.

Backed by director Pa Pandian himself, Gift has been co-produced by Vedivelu Kamalakannan. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
