Yuvan Shankar Raja's music for many of Ajith's films have set the audience's pulse racing, most notably Billa with director Vishnuvardhan and the Venkat Prabhu directorial Mankatha. The two, who first collaborated on 2001's Dheena, have not worked together since 2022's Valimai. Which is why Yuvan's recent meeting with Ajith in Dubai is sure to excite fans. Sharing a photograph with Ajith on social media, Yuvan wrote, "It was great meeting up with AK." The composer also mentioned that their conversations revolved around motorsport, Ajith's other vocation this side of cinema. "And what better topic than cars," added the composer. The meeting comes amid speculation about Ajith and Yuvan reuniting with their Billa filmmaker Vishnuvardhan for a new project.

Recently, Ajith announced through social media that he purchased a limited-edition Mclaren Senna model car. The actor has made his intention to concentrate on his racing career until between November this year and February next year. On the other hand, Yuvan has a long lineup of films coming up, including Maareesan, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, 7G Rainbow Colony 2, and STR 50.
