Vikram Prabhu laments about life and love in new single 'Eduda Bottle' from Love Marriage

Directed by debutant Shanmuga Priyan, Love Marriage marks the Tamil debut of Dominic and the Ladies' Purse actor Sushmitha Bhat

The makers of Vikram Prabhu-starrer Love Marriage have released a new single titled 'Eduda Bottle' from the film. The song, which features an inebriated Vikram Prabhu and his pals lamenting about their lives, has been sung by actor-director Mysskin with lyrics written by Mohan Rajan. Earlier, the makers had released two singles titled ‘Bejaara Aanen’ and 'Kalyana Kalavaram'.

Directed by debutant Shanmuga Priyan, the film which marks the Tamil debut of Dominic and the Ladies' Purse actor Sushmitha Bhat, is scheduled to be released in theatres on June 27.

Apart from Vikram Prabhu and Sushmitha Bhat, the film also stars Meenakshi Dinesh, Arul Doss, Ramesh Tilak, Muruganandam, Gajaraj, Kodangi Vadivelu, Winner Ramachandran, and Yasar in important roles.

Set in Gobichettipalayam, Love Marriage revolves around a 33-year-old man (Vikram Prabhu) who is going through an arranged marriage. Speaking about the film’s plot, director Shanmuga Priyan shared with CE in an earlier interview, “In our country, we have this issue where a person faces marital pressure from his family and society once he crosses 30 years. At the beginning of the film, the hero undergoes that situation; then, he gets a marital alliance, and the rest of the plot revolves around how he and his family cope with the wedding pressure.”

The director has previously served as an associate director for Anand Shankar on NOTA and Enemy, and as a co-director with Ra Karthik on Nitham Oru Vaanam.

On the technical front, Love Marriage cinematographer Madhan Christopher, editor Bharath Vikraman, and production designer M Murali.
