The first song from Thalaivan Thalaivii, titled 'Pottala Muttaye', has been released online. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nithya Menen, and Yogi Babu.

Santhosh Narayanan, who has composed music for the film, has sung 'Pottala Muttaye' with Sublahshini, who is known for 'Golden Sparrow' from Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. The music video features the singers and lyricist Vivek, with visuals from the film and some animated scenes interspersed.

Pandiraj, who has directed films like Pasanga and Marina, has written and directed Thalaivan Thalaivii. The technical crew for the film includes M Sukumar as the director of photography, Pradeep E Ragav as the editor, K Veerasamar as the art director, Baba Bhaskar as the choreographer, and Kalai Kingson as the stunt master.

TG Thyagarajan, Sendhil Thyagarajan, and Arjun Thyagarajan are producing the film under the Sathya Jyothi Films banner. G Saravanan and Sai Siddharth serve as co-producers.
