Rajinikanth-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie aces the promotion game

It is no news in this part of the world that a Rajinikanth film is nothing less than a festival and that the promotions are always a step-ahead, right from the actor's first collaboration with Pa Ranjith, Kabali.

The makers of Rajini's upcoming actioner, Coolie, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, have raised the bar on promotions once again as the film is teaming up with the e-commerce platform Amazon. Accordingly, the orders placed on the platform will be delivered in boxes designed with Coolie posters, featuring the ensemble. The boxes also have a QR code, scanning which

The promotional campaign is being undertaken in cities such as Delhi, Noida, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under his Sun Pictures banner, Coolie boasts a star-studded ensemble consisting of Nagarjuna as Simon, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar, Upendra as Kaleesha, Shruti Haasan as Preethi, and Soubin Shahir as Dayal. Rajinikanth plays Deva in the film. Confirming speculations, it was also recently revealed that Aamir Khan will play Dahaa in Coolie, an announcement that has upped the excitement for the film.

The rest of the technical crew consists of cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, and stunts by Anbariv. The dialogues for the film are written by Lokesh alongside Chandhru Anbazhagan, who has also written the additional screenplay for the film.
