The other day, Instagram influencer Elakkiya claimed that she and stunt master Dhilip Subbarayan has been in a relationship for the last six years. She added that Dhilip physically assaulted her because she asked him regarding his affairs with other women and held him responsible for her 'death'. Later, reports about her being in a hospital after a suicide attempt went viral. However, subsequently, Elakkiya removed the post and called it fake news, making the audience question the authenticity of her claims about Dhilip Subbarayan. In the meantime, in a statement to the press, Dhilip has called Elakkiya's original accusations "false and baseless". The stunt master asked why, in spite of Elakkiya backtracking on her allegations, there are "unfounded claims" regarding his personal life. He said that the accusations have contributed to "unnecessary distress to me and my family".
Dhilip reiterated that Elakkiya's original claims are "entirely false" and even warned the media against propagating "such unfounded allegations".
Dhilip Subbarayan is the stunt director for the Pa Ranjith film Vettuvam, the shoot of which contributed to the tragic death of stunt actor Mohan Raj. The film's makers claimed that Dhilip followed all safety protocols during its production. Dhilip is known for films across industries, such as Aaranya Kaandam and Maan Karate, to name two. His latest work is Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit.
