Sasikumar-Lijomol's Freedom release rescheduled indefinitely

With the previous release date lapsed, it was expected that the film would be released this Friday

Actors Sasikumar and Lijomol Jose's upcoming film Freedom, initially scheduled for release on July 10, has been postponed indefinitely.

The film's producer, Pandiyan Parusuraman of the Vijaya Ganapathy Pictures, announced that the film has been postponed due to "unforeseen circumstances," and a new release date will be shared soon.

With the previous release date lapsed, it was expected that the film would be released this Friday. But the official note from the makers has clarified that the film will not be releasing this week either.

Freedom is expected to tell a story based on true events featuring the jailbreak of Sri Lankan Tamils.

The film also stars KGF fame Malavika Avinash, Bose Venkat, Ramesh Khanna, Mu Ramasamy, and Boys (2003) fame Manikandan, among others. Sathyasiva is the writer and director of the film, which has music by Ghibran, cinematography by NS Uthayakumar, and editing by Srikanth NB.
