Pooja Hedge is elated and overwhelmed with the outpouring celebration and response to Coolie's second single 'Monica', a hat-tip to Italian actor Monica Bellucci. Taking to her social media handles, the actor shared a few behind-the-scenes photos and videos and said that it was one of the "most physically toughest and demanding songs" to shoot in her career.

The photos show her tan lines, preparations for the shoot and the actor working in heat and leg pain. In her note, she said she battled "extreme heat, dust, humidity and sun burn". Describing 'Monica' as her first "hectic dance shoot" after overcoming a ligament tear, she said, "I gave my all to 'Monica' and it’s gonna be a blast to watch in the theatres, I promise."

In a special appearance, the high-energy number has the Beast actor dancing along with Soubin Shahir. The Malayalam actor also received special praise for his dance moves, with social media users congratulating director Lokesh Kanagaraj for tapping into his unseen side for this film.

Coolie boasts a star-studded ensemble consisting of Nagarjuna as Simon, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar, Upendra as Kaleesha, Shruti Haasan as Preethi, and Soubin Shahir as Dayal. Rajinikanth plays Deva in the film. Aamir Khan is Dahaa in the film.

The rest of the technical crew consists of cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, and stunts by Anbariv. The dialogues for the film are written by Lokesh alongside Chandhru Anbazhagan, who has also written the additional screenplay for the film.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under his Sun Pictures banner, Coolie is scheduled to release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada on August 14 worldwide.
