The makers of Rekkai Mulaithen have released a teaser for the film recently. The film is set to release theatrically on July 18.

The teaser opens with an introduction to Dharshini, a college going student, who gets caught in a grave conspiracy that affects her deeply. A montage shows a police investigation being conductedd with possible players in the conspiracy highlighted.

The cast of the film includes Prabha, Tanya Ravichandra, Bagavathi Perumal, Jayaprakash, and Meera Krishnan, amongst others.

The film is written and directed by SR Prabhakaran, who also serves as a producer. A Munishwar and K Theera serve as co-producers on the film. The crew of the film includes Theeson as the music composer, Ganesh Santhanam as the director of photography, Biju and V Don Bosco as the editors, with Prem Kumar and Maya Pandi as the art directors. Aditya RK and Manasi MM have provided vocals for a song, with lyrics by A Pa Raja. Stone Elephant Creations and Pangajam Dreams Productions are backing the film.
