Weeks after the makers dropped the teaser of Sonia Aggarwal's Gift, the trailer glimpse of the film was released on Sunday.

The trailer of the film, helmed by Pa Pandian, follows a cop, played by Sonia Aggarwal, who pursues the accused in a gang rape case. The glimpse shows what kind of an astute cop the lead is and the obstacles placed in front of her.

Apart from Sonia Aggarwal, Gift also features Birla Bose, Super Good Subramani, Crane Manohar, Sasi Laya and Rekha.

Sonia had three releases last year, 7/G, Seeran and Sshhh. Up next, she has the courtroom drama Will, also starring Vikranth, directed by debutant S Sivaraman.

On the technical front, the film has music by Amara CV and cinematography by Rajadurai. The film has two editors David Ajay and Ganesh.

Backed by director Pa Pandian himself, Gift has been co-produced by Vedivelu Kamalakannan. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
