After Goli Soda Rising, director Vijay Milton is joining hands with Raj Tarun for an upcoming film, which Aari Arjunan has confirmed is Goli Soda 3. In a recent interview with Cinema Express, Aari spoke about his relationship with Vijay Milton and how he came on board the upcoming film.

Aari, who started his film career as a fitness coach, says he and Vijay Milton go all the way back to Cheran’s Autograph (2004). “I have known Vijay Milton sir since when we worked together on Cheran's Autograph. I was new to cinema then. He eventually made his directorial debut under Cheran sir's production banner.”

While they’ve known each other for 20 odd years, it was not until recently that the actor was provided an opportunity by the director. “One fine day he called me and asked if I wanted to be a part of Goli Soda 3. I heard the story of the film and my character details only after saying yes to the film.”

Aari then goes on to recall an incident that took place eight years ago with Vijay Milton. “Eight years ago, when we were travelling together, Vijay Milton suddenly looked at me and asked, 'What happened to you?' I was perplexed and asked him what's on his mind. A cinematographer, Vijay, said, 'Only now have you moulded your face and body for acting. You have come to the right form for acting, a form you didn't have when you started out in the industry.' He then compared me to Suriya sir and said I look like him, to which I asked him, 'I hope you're not teasing me.' To which he said that he was serious about his compliment.”

Aari Arjunan will be seen in the role of a cop in the Vijay Milton-Raj Tarun film. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual also stars Bharath, Sunil, Paal Dabba, and Ammu Abhirami. While Ammu Abhirami plays the female lead, the roles of Sunil, Bharath, and Paal Dabba are yet to be disclosed. Kishore DS of Pasanga, Goli Soda, and Goli Soda Rising fame is also part of the cast. Vijetha, Prasanna Balachandran, and Imman Annachi had recently joined the film.

Kalai Kingson and Vikram Mor are roped in as stunt directors, with the rest of the technical crew and release date yet to be revealed. The dubbing work for the film recently commenced.
