Weeks after the theatrical release of director Esakki Karvannan's Paramasivan Fathima, starring Vemal and Chaya Devi, the makers of the film announced the OTT release date of the film on Wednesday.

Accordingly, the social drama thriller is making its digital debut on the OTT platform Aha on July 4.

The film released on June 6 to mostly negative reviews for insensitive portrayal of communal strife and lack of technical finesse. An excerpt from CE reads, "The film has no redeeming factors, either in the performances or the screenplay front, even keeping aside the propaganda. It is a contest between bad cinematic language and the worst political message. When you thought it just couldn't get worse, the film flirts with multiple genres and finally ends as a horror film, to our bad luck."

The film, directed by Esakki Karvannan, has previously made Tamil Kudimagan (2023), Pettikadai (2019), and Pagiri (2016).

Paramasivan Fathima, which has Chayadevi as the female lead, also stars MS Bhaskar, Manoj Kumar, Sri Ranjani, Athira, Aruldoss, Cool Suresh, Kadhal Sukumar, and Veerasamar, among others.
