It's pouring wishes and positive responses for director Ram's upcoming film Paranthu Po, following the celebrity premiere show hosted for renowned and upcoming directors of Tamil cinema.

Director and a close friend of Ram, Mysskin, showered praises on the film, calling it an artwork that will take people on an inward journey to discover the bird within. He said, "The father and son duo who haven't seen and scaled the mountains, climb to the summit and view the sunrise. I will call this episode the summary of the film. The film, with this episode, underscores the importance of the quality time a dad spends with his son. I grew a pair of wings after watching the film. I hope the people who watch the film in theatres will encounter a similar experience."

All the directors who attended the premiere, including PS Mithran, S Jayakumar, PS Vinothraj and Abishan Jeevinth, unanimously called the film Ram's most light-hearted film that comes off as a celebration. The Tourist Family helmer said the film felt like therapy for him.

Paranthu Po, starring Shiva, Grace Antony, Mitul Ryan, Anjali and Aju Varghese, will release alongside 3BHK and Phoenix on July 4 in theatres.
