The makers of Pa Vijay-Jiiva's Aghathiyaa dropped the third single from the film titled 'Semmannu Thaane' on Saturday.

The song is typically a celebration and eulogy of the native Tamil life that is in harmony with nature. 'Semmannu Thaane,' composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is sung by MM Manasi and penned by Pa Vijay.

The makers of the film already released 'Kaatrin Viral' and 'En Iniya Pon Nilave' earlier.

In addition to Jiiva and Arjun, the film also stars Raashii Khanna, Edward Sonnenblick, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, and Redin Kingsley. Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International and Aneesh Arjun Dev's Wam India are the producers of Aghathiyaa. According to a press note, it is a horror-thriller film, but the makers are yet to reveal any details about its plot and characters.

Aghathiyaa is Pa Vijay's third directorial venture, after Strawberry (2015) and Aaruthra (2018). He doubled up as a writer in these two films, besides serving just as a writer in Gnabagangal (2009) and the Tamil dialogue writer for the Telugu film Rudhramadevi (2015).

Aghathiyaa's technical crew comprises music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Dipak Kumar Padhy, editor San Lokesh, stunt choreographer K Ganesh, and dance choreographer Sridhar.

The film is all set to hit theatres on January 31.
