After receiving recognition and applause in his debut film Yaathisai, director Dharani Rasendhran's second film was officially launched on Tuesday.

The untitled film, produced by J Kamalakannan under JK Film International, was formally announced with a pooja on January 19. The film stars the director's Yaathisai collaborator Seyon as the male lead and Bhavani Sre as the female lead. Apart from the leads, Samuthirakani has been roped into playing a pivotal role.

With JK Film International stepping into film production with this project, J Kamalakannan hailed Dharani Rasendhran as an "overnight showstopper." He said that his banner will strive to create good content and shared he was always passionate to be a part of the film industry.

With the film's plot and genre yet to be unveiled, it is expected to go on floors in the first week of February.

The film's technical crew includes cinematographer R Sethumurugavel Jeganathan, editor Mahendran Ganesan and music composer Chakravarthy.
