Gautham Menon to direct Vetrimaaran's story with Ravi Mohan set to headline

In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, director Gautham Vasudev Menon has confirmed that he will be working with director Vetrimaaran and actor Ravi Mohan. He revealed that he will be directing a film from a story written by Vetrimaaran, with Ravi Mohan set to star. The project, however, is in nascent stages, and more information about the story, cast, and crew is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, at the Madha Gaja Raja success meet, actor Vishal announced that he will be working on a film with director Gautham Menon. However, official confirmation about the project is awaited.

Gautham Menon is currently awaiting the release of his latest directorial, Dominic and the Ladies' Purse, which is gearing up for release on January 23. He last saw the release of the long-delayed Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha. His Dhruva Natchathiram starring Vikram is yet to hit theatres.

Ravi Mohan is coming fresh off the success of Kadhalikka Neramillai. In the pipeline, he has his 34th film which is helmed by director Ganesh K Babu, Genie, SK 25, and Thani Oruvan 2. Vetrimaaran, on the other hand, recently had the release of Viduthalai: Part 2, which opened to positive reviews. He is set to start production on Suriya's Vaadi Vaasal.
