Dragon release date pushed due to Vidaamuyarchi

This change was made to avoid a clash with Ajith-Magizh Thirumeni's highly anticipated Vidaamuyarchi

Pradeep Ranganathan starrer Dragon, which was earlier scheduled for February 7, was later moved to February 14. Now, the makers have announced that the Ashwath Marimuthu is all set to hit the theatres on February 21. This change was made to avoid a clash with Ajith-Magizh Thirumeni's highly anticipated Vidaamuyarchi, which is scheduled to be released on February 6.

The Dhanush directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) was also pushed from February 7 to February 21. With Pradeep playing Dragon/Raghavan, the film also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, KS Ravikumar, George Maryan, Indumathi Manikandan, VJ Siddhu, and Harshath Khan.

Pradeep will also be seen in Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) by Vignesh Shivan and an untitled project with debut director Keerthiswaran. Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment is the creative producer for Dragon.

Dragon has music by Ashwath's Oh My Kadavule collaborator Leon James, cinematography by Niketh Bommi, and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. The film is said to be released in Tamil and Telugu.
