On the occasion of the Pongal festival, the makers of actor Manikandan's Kudumbasthan unveiled a special poster featuring all members of the film's star cast.

The comedy film gearing up for a release on January 24 is directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy, who is better known by his YouTube channel Nakkalites. He said that the film, set in Coimbatore, deals with the new responsibilities of a youngster who just gets married in a humourous way. He added, however, that the film will also stay relatable to those men who are in love but are yet to get married.

The film also stars actor Saanve Megghana as the female lead and Guru Somasundaram in a prominent role. Backed by S Vinothkumar's Cinemaakaran banner, the film's technical team consists of cinematographer Sujith Subramaniam, editor Kannan, and music composer Vaisagh.

Kudumbasthan will release along with Guru Somasundaram-led Bottle Radha, written and directed by debutant Dhinakaran Sivalingam.
