Vidaamuyarchi clears censorship formalities

The makers of Vidaamuyarchi are yet to give a fresh release date for the film

Days after Ajith-Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaamuyarchi backed out of the Pongal release, the film has obtained a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

According to the certificate, the film has a runtime of 150 minutes and 46 seconds, i.e., two hours, thirty minutes and 46 seconds. It is learnt that the usage of expletives and utterances of a toxic chemical have been muted.

Vidaamuyarchi also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in key roles. Recently, the makers of the film added Ramya Subramanian, also known as VJ Ramya, to the cast. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Om Prakash, editing by NB Srikanth, and action by Supreme Sundar.

Ajith's next with Mark Antony fame Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly, will be releasing on April 10, alongside Dhanush's directorial Idli Kadai.
