On Monday, the makers of Ajith Kumar and Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly announced that the film eyes the Tamil New Year release window.

It is worth noting that recently, Ajith and Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaamuyarchi, supposed to be releasing on Pongal, was postponed without the makers giving a fresh release date.

The Good Bad Ugly cast includes Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, BS Avinash of KGF fame, Prabhu, Prasanna, Rahul Dev, Yogi Babu, and Sunil. The production of the film concluded and the dubbing began in December last year with Ajith completing his work.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad, who has worked on an Ajith film after Veeram. The film's technical team also includes cinematographer Abinadhan Ramanujam and editor Vijay Velukutty.

Vidaamuyarchi also has Trisha in a lead role, alongside Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra. Aarav, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, and Ganesh, among others, form the rest of the supporting cast. The film has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by NB Srikanth.

As of now, apart from Good Bad Ugly, Dhanush's directorial Idli Kadai too will release in theatres on April 10.
