The much-awaited first single from Dragon, starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role has been released by director Ashwath Marimuthu. Titled 'Rise Of Dragon', the song is sung by Anirudh, along with Nadisha Thomas, and El Fé Choir, and has lyrics penned by Vignesh Shivan. The peppy dance number is filmed in what seems to be an office set-up with Gautham Vasudev Menon seemingly playing his superior.
Dragon, in addition to Pradeep as the titular character, also stars Anupama Parameswaran as Keerthi, Kayadu Lohar as Pallavi, Mysskin as Mayilvahanan, Gautham Vasudev Menon as Vale Kumar, KS Ravikumar as Parasuram, George Maryan as Dhanapal, and Indumathi Manikandan as Chitra. Known for producing funny contents and vlogs on YouTube, popular YouTubers VJ Siddhu and Harshath Khan too will be a part of the film's star cast.
Ashwath is directing the film from his own screenplay. Lead actor Pradeep is also credited as the story writer alongside Ashwath. Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment is the creative producer for Dragon. It marks AGS Entertainment's second collaboration with Pradeep following 2022's Love Today.
Dragon has music by Ashwath's Oh My Kadavule collaborator Leon James, cinematography by Niketh Bommi, and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. The film will release in Tamil and Telugu.
A release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
